Si Beyoncé et Taylor Swift ont été largement célébrées, lors de la 52ème édition des Grammy Awards à Los Angeles, la surprise pour nous vient des récompenses attribuée aux nominations françaises ! Ainsi, le groupe Phoenix (totalement ignoré de nos Victoires de la Musique), et le DJ David Guetta repartent respectivement avec un Grammy chacun : "Meilleur album alternatif" pour "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" et "Meilleur titre dance" pour "When Love Takes Over" (voir sur ce lien).

Face aux dix nominations - et aux six récompenses attribuées à Beyoncé, Lady GaGa, a dû se contenter de celles du "Meilleur single" et du "Meilleur album dance" pour "Poker Face" et "The Fame".

Enfin, cette nouvelle cérémonie a rendu hommage à Michael Jackson. Deux de ses enfants sont venus récupérer une récompense posthume en mémoire du Roi de la Pop.
