Pas fan de Hang With Me...

J'avais apprécié la version acoustique avec le temps mais en ce qui concerne la version up tempo ça passe tout seul en une écoute puisque j'aime beaucoup c'est du bon Robyn !

 

Par contre c'est bien dommage de voir qu'un titre par EP sera exploité puisque dans le premier il y avait matière pour enchainer sur un second single..

Le site PopJustice.com a écouté Body Talk Pt. 2 en exclusif, en a fait une critique et ils adorent!

 

We didn't want to be too quick with our reaction to Robyn's 'Body Talk PT2', partly because we didn't want to rush into saying how amazing it was but also - after listening through it once - because we didn't want to rush into saying that it felt slightly underwhelming.

 

Well, after a few days of living with the album we can report that the news is this:

 

» It feels like a different album to 'Body Talk PT1', although it pulls off similar tricks. It's like someone telling you a story you've heard before while wearing a different hat to keep it interesting.

 

» It's not as strong as its predecessor but it's far stronger than it at first seems - the songs feels like they're more confident and less desperate to please on first listen, which we suppose makes sense because 'Body Talk PT1' did the proper re-introduction business and 'Body Talk PT3' will be doing the selling-around-Christmas gruntwork, so 'Body Talk PT2' can relax a little.

 

» In terms of a brief track by track 'In My Eyes' and 'Include Me Out' both feel like an affectionate updated throwback to Robyn's 'Keep This Fire Burning'-era songwriting, the reswizzled 'Hang With Me' fills this album's tears-on-the-dancefloor emotronic highspirited downheartened gloompop quota, 'Love Kills' is an upbeat wibbly affair, 'We Dance To The Beat' is a bottom-heavy, tune-agnostic club track, 'Criminal Intent' is a 'Fembots'-esque romp, 'U Should Know Better' is the rather frenetic Snoop Dogg collaboration which to these ears doesn't quite work as well as it should, and 'Indestructible' is a classic Robyn uberballad destined, we suspect, to reappear on 'Body Talk PT3' in a different form.

 

You're probably already starting to think about your 'Best Of Body Talk' playlists - well, we'll be adding 'Include Me Out', 'Hang With Me', 'Love Kills' and 'Indestructible' to ours, bringing the running total to ten tracks. Add four more from 'Body Talk PT3' (if the third installment is indeed a brand new selection of eight songs) and we'll have a cataclysmically brilliant 14-track album. Hurrah.

Bizarrement j'ai connu l'album éponyme de Robyn récemment et je le trouve franchement daté!

Je découvre Body Talk est c'est une claque... Dancing On My Own est une vrai claque... J'ai les poils dressés à chaque fois...

C'est pour moi la meilleure chanson pop et la plus belle love song écrite à ce jour... (notez comme je suis mesuré tant j'aime cette chanson...)!

Body Talk Part 2 est (à mon sens, pour moi, gnagnagna) largement supérieur à la Part 1.

Je viens de finir d'écouter l'album. Je suis très surpris par la qualité de cet album au vu du Part.1 qui ne m'avait pas autant emballé je n'avais apprécié que deux où trois pistes. Sur celui-ci toutes les pistes sont différentes et ont quelque chose de "punchy"

 

 

Seul bémol le merdique Hang With Me que je ne peux écouter et que je n'ai pas pu sur le premier opus.

 

 

U Should Know Me Better (ft Snoop Dogg) que je ne peux blairer est juste FAN TA S TI QU E !!! Ah quand une sortie de single?

 

 

Ce Part.2 est largement supérieur à au Part.1 ! Peut-on même faire une comparaison entre ces deux Part.

Personnellement, contrairement à la majorité des gens j'avais apprécié la quasi globalité de la partie 1 mais c'est vrai que je trouve la partie 2 supérieur puisque je ne peux jeter aucune chanson. Enorme coup de coeur pour We Dance To The Beat, Includ Me Out mais surtout U Should Know Be Better. Par contre, c'est dommage d'avoir choisit Hang With Me en premier extrait parce que même si la chanson est bonne on peut dire qu'elle fait pâle figure comparer aux autres titres !
