A wembley j’ai trouvé geri assez drôle et assez bavarde avec le Public , je ne pense pas qu’elle s’ennuie au contraire  , elle a évolué a sa  manière c’est tout.

Je reviens du concert de Mélanie C feat. Sink the Pink (à Santiago du Chili).

 

35 minutes (pile) de concert pour 45 euros...... Elle a donc fait le voyage pour ça.... Concert annoncé à 21h et qui a commencé à 22:25, jusqu’à 23 heures, donc...

 

C’est vraiment le cash facile en capitalisant sur le regain d’intérêt des Spice. Au programme : 2 become 1, Say you’ll be there, Never be the same again, I Turn to you, un autre titre solo et trois reprises.

 

Sink the Pink ne sert à rien (franchement, je mettais une perruque après trois verres et j’aurais mis plus d’ambiance) et Mel C, bien que fort sympathique et fort pro, ne s’est claaaaairement pas foulé.

 

Son répertoire et son public méritent mieux - mais clairement c’est une tournée ultra cheap pour les fans vaches à lait. 

A oublier.

Mais c'est quoi le concept de ce truc ? Sur les réseaux sociaux, avec les images qu'elle poste, j'ai l'impression qu'elle est la reine de la gaypride avec un haut en plastic.

A ce propos, petit moment amusant à Santiago...

 

Les Sink The Pink ont fait genre 30 secondes de Wannabe, grimés en Spice Girls (les 5). 

Sur ce, Mel C arrive en mode “il n’y a la place que pour UNE Sporty Spice ici...” et vire la Mel C Drag....

 

Puis s’est adressé au public en disant un truc du genre “Oh Victoria, you’re finally here”.......! 

Comme quoi elles doivent toutes l’avoir en travers de la gorge tout de même...

 

Et pour répondre à Benny...

Le principe de la tournée de Mel C feat. Sink the Pink c’est un Tour des Prides... (elle était à la Pride de Rio avant Santiago et est actuellement à New York). Pour Santiago, elle l’a loupé - c’était samedi dernier et nous sommes en hiver ici... Donc c’est moins fun.

Après, elle a vaguement expliqué que Sink The Pink est un collectif Queer londonien hyper créatif (ça ne s’est pas vu sur scène, hein.......). Mais le concept est clair : more money for MelC en un minimum d’effort.

On a per-night basis, the approach worked wonders, averaging $6 million and 53,000 tickets each show, compared to $1.6 million and 13,000 tickets in 2007-08. And even though they played far fewer shows, the stadium strategy worked on the whole: Spice World -- 2019 Tour grossed $78.2 million and sold almost 700,000 tickets, versus the $70.1 million and 581,000 tickets from the original reunion tour. The scale of the 2019 tour means that the Spice Girls even out-performed the touring they did during their late-'90s girl-powered prime, when they averaged 17,513 tickets each night.
