4ème album, Heart Of Nowhere : 6 Mai 2013

 

Speaking previously to NME about the album, Fink said that he and his bandmates had been keen to record live to tape after just two or three takes, giving the record more of a live and organic feel.

"The last record was an album that was built in the studio. And that means you gravitate towards computers and perfection, and it's very easy to do that," he said. "So we decided we wanted to go against that, and sacrifice that technical perfection for emotional intensity. The thing about recording live is, you’ve got nowhere to hide. If the songs aren’t good enough, you’ll find out straight away."

Speaking about the songs themselves, meanwhile, he said that he had taken lyrical inspiration from his adolescent experiences, adding: "There's definitely stuff you can dance to; there's also stuff you can weep to, if you want."

Je ne connais que le troisième album qui était superbe, je jetterai une oreille ou deux au suivant.

 

 

Hé ben tu vas découvrir la lune avec les 2 premiers alors, parce que le 3ème est le mons marquant pour moi !

Le premier single passe pas mal, surtout la fin. Au début, à chaque fois j'ai l'impression que je connais la note qui suit et en fait il en chante une autre, qui rend assez moche...

L'album est donc disponible ! Je le trouve personnellement très solide.

Je suis en train de l'écouter. Pour l'instant, ce n'est pas un coup de foudre immédiat mais j'aime bien ce que j'entends.

Sinon, on sait déjà que All Through The Night sera le 2nd single. Il sortira le 22 Juillet au UK.

J'ai découvert le groupe avec cet album, et je suis plutôt séduit. Je vais me lancer sur leurs précédents disques !
