Après une première écoute, je suis plutôt déçu. Pourtant l'album démarre en trompe ! Les 5 premières pistes sont très bonnes mais ça se complique par la suite. A part In The End et The Symphony, le reste est d'un ennui ! Ca ne décolle jamais !

Mainteant, ça reste une première impression mais une chose est sûre, l'album aurait gagné à être plus court car la présence de certains titres est assez anecdotique.

Je n'ai toujours pas acheté l'album, mais je vais y aller de suite. Avec ton seul avis Pretty Boy, j'ai un peu peur, mais j'espère que c'est juste un avis de première écoute... Je verrais bien. Sinon Called Out In The Dark était bon je trouvais. Mais quand j'ai écouté pour la première fois This Isn't Everything You Are, j'ai trouvé ce titre... Il n'y a pas de mots, je le trouve génial, et j'espère que l'album suivra. Par contre, avec le nombre d'écoutes du 2nd single (une grosse centaine) je trouve Called Out In The Dark plus fade... A voir.

Excellent album. Je suis les Snow Patrol depuis plusieurs années. Mon album préféré est Final Straw. Mais peut-être détrôné dans quelques jours... Tellement je trouve Fallen Empires excellent!

 

J'avais été un peu déçu par le dernier album studio, a hundred million of suns mais là je suis reconquis.

snowpatrolband For the folks asking about the new snow patrol album, #SP7. here’s the news. we had a breakthrough recording session in feb and are on the home straight. The awesome jacknife lee is in the producer’s chair as usual and we have more time with him in the studio in may/june and will be finished at the end of june. hopefully that gives us plenty of time to bring the album out this year. that is the plan. Plans are fallible but we'll damn well try our best.
there have been a few false starts so i didn’t want to post something until i knew we were on the right track. we are. it’s sounding mighty. i’m very proud of what we’ve done so far and cannot wait for you all to hear it. thank you all for your patience and support. 6 years is a bloody eternity between albums we know so the fact people are still asking when it's coming means a lot to us. we’ll post updates from the studio from late may onwards. big love good people. gL.x
