One of the few fans to see Britney Spears's dress rehearsal of her Circus show at the New Orleans Arena Monday night tells PEOPLE that the pop star did not disappoint.

"She really delivered," said Libby Davis, 27, of Baton Rouge radio station WFMF, which gave away tickets to the late-night rehearsal. "There were only 150 people there, but she put on a great show."

As for how Spears looks, Davis says, "Her body is definitely back. We could see her arm and leg muscles from where we were sitting. In typical Britney fashion, the costumes were pretty scanty. It was Cirque du Soleil meets Moulin Rouge."

Davis's group waited through the first dress rehearsal for family and friends, which they could hear but not see. Once inside, "Everybody was chanting, 'Britney, Britney, Britney,' screaming, 'We support you, Britney,' " says Davis.

"She put on the entire show as if it were a full house. She catered to us," adds Davis. "She even stopped during 'Womanizer' because she realized we couldn't see her. She said, 'Let's do it over.' "

First Review!

Cirque du Soleil meets Moulin Rouge. Probably the best way to describe the Britney Spears Circus Tour Show. I was among about 100-150 people lucky enough to see the show before the rest of New Orleans last night at the New Orleans Arena. Britney obviously had some reservations about performing for such a small crowd. We were told to be there at 7pm for an 8pm start. The nice people at Virgin Mobile (tour sponsor) set us up with a great free open bar and tons of free Britney goodies--including a bottle of her perfume Fantasy and a tour t-shrit. After an hour or so we were told the show would start at 9. Then her manager and the tour manager came out to us in the waiting room to tell us the show would start at probably closer to 10pm. They took us then to another waiting room for more free food and drinks. After a while they sent in some clowns for some extra waiting room entertainment. They even stocked the waiting room with cotton candy and popcorn to fit in perfectly with the Circus theme. After another long while, the guys in charge came out once again and said: "Britney hasn't put on a live show in 4 years. This is taking us some time." Finally 11pm rolls around and they take us into the arena. We sit for an hour and watch the clowns and jugglers and acrobats warm up.

Then the main event. They spared no expense on the 10 million dollar round video screen that catches Brit's every move no matter what "ring" of three stages she's on. As we assumed, the first song of the night was Circus. The first outfit was absolutley amazing. It was a perfect depiction of what a pop star trying to portray a circus ring leader would be. As expected as the night progressed the outfits definitely got skimpier and skimpier--including the two flesh colored skin tight body suits that covered her entire body--with the black tassles hanging off of the front. You can use your imagination on that one. The costumes overall were very Madonna-esque but if Britney wants to look like someone--shouldn't it be Madonna? She really had every right to wear anything she wanted to though after working so hard to get her body back. We could see her arm and leg muscles from our seats. She really has been hitting the gym hard! Very unlike the infamous VMA Awards Performance, Brit's dance moves were spot on. It was the dress rehearsal so she lip-synched most of the songs and performed a couple live.

As expected, an appearance was also made by Max the magician. We all saw him as the Max Restaurant owner on Saved by the Bell. He was the man cutting Britney in half. The magic tricks went off without a hitch, and Britney made every arrangement to make sure all 150 or so of us had a great view of the show. Britney even joined in on the acrobatics during one song, when two male acrobats swung down from the ceiling and lifting Brit off the stage with no harness! During the same song, the chemistry with Brit and the dancers got pretty heated--giving the show a PG-13 rating to me.

Again, being a dress rehearsal, there was bound to be at least one snafu. During the last song of the night, Womanizer, our view was completely blocked by a black drape that the production crew forgot to lift. Britney stopped the song, telling the crew "they can't even see me perform!" She then made them pick it up again from the top, after our view was obstruction-free! After waiting for so many hours to finally see the show, it was the least she could do.

Overall, the show was very entertaining and worth the wait. If you've got a ticket to tonight's sold-out show, prepare to see some amazing acrobatics, VERY skimpy costumes, a lot of magic and of course the Britney Spears we all know and love."
