D'aucuns vous diront qu'il se tenaient au même endroit cinq mille personnes et d'autres, près de vingt mille ! Ce dont tout le monde est certain, c'est que la fiancée de Jay-Z a déplacé une foule considérable à l'occasion de sa tournée mondiale qui l'a menée en Ethiopie et, à Addis Abeba précisément.

Le samedi 20 octobre dernier, un nombre considérable de mélomanes, de fans de la vedette américaine Beyoncé Knowles et de curieux, a pu assister au concert que la star américaine a donné en Ethiopie dans le cadre de la tournée accompagnant son album « B World ».

La chanteuse qui a reçu un accueil des plus chaleureux, a tenu à remercier le public et les officiels qui ont voulu exprimer à l'artiste tout le bien qu'ils pensaient d'elle.

Beyoncé qui n'a évidemment pas démérité, a achevé son concert en compagnie de ses danseurs avec l'exécution d'une danse traditionnelle éthiopienne ce qui a produit l'effet escompté : la foule électrisée ! Mieux, les fans de la vedette internationale se sont complètement déchaînés.

 

La chanteuse avait avant le concert visité Addis Abeba, et s'était rendue au palais, au musée d'Addis Abeba, avait visité des résidences du gouvernement et assisté à un banquet en son honneur.

 

A savoir que Beyoncé qui a commencé sa tournée par la Russie, se rendra ensuite en Roumanie, en Turquie, en Thaïlande, en Indonésie, et achèvera celle-ci par la Chine.

Beyoncé et Elton John seront du concert célébrant les liens musique-cinéma

 

LOS ANGELES - Les chanteurs Beyoncé, Elton John et Mary J. Blige figurent parmi les têtes d'affiche de la première édition du concert "Movies Rock", dont le but est de célébrer les liens entre le monde de la musique et celui du cinéma.

 

L'événement se tiendra le 2 décembre au Kodak Theatre de Los Angeles, en Californie. Il sera diffusé cinq jours plus tard sur le réseau télévisé CBS.

 

Les meilleurs extraits des trames sonores des chefs-d'oeuvre du cinéma vont être passés en revue par des stars contemporaines de la musique. Ainsi, Beyoncé chantera "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", emprunté au "Magicien d'Oz", alors qu'Elton John rendra un hommage particulier aux musiques tirées du cinéma d'animation.

 

La chanson du film classique "Casablanca", "As Time Goes By", sera reprise en duo, par Mary J.Blige et John Legend.

 

Fergie des Black Eyed Peas et Jennifer Hudson d'American Idol reprendront d'autres hymnes, tirés des films de James Bond, "Live and Let Die" et "Goldfinger".

 

Jennifer Lopez et son époux Marc Anthony figurent aussi parmi les artistes de cette première édition.

 

Le célèbre compositeur de musiques de films John Williams dirigera un orchestre qui jouera un pot-pourri de ses bandes originales.
