Le groupe est en forme et semble avoir retrouvé ses automatismes après leur long hiatus. Pas de nouvelles chansons mais je m'y attendais... Le son est pourri mais ça donne une idée de l'ambiance aux concerts de MARS. Shannon et Tomo restent discrets sur les réseaux, Jared est celui qui se manifeste le plus. Il semblerait qu'il se soit sérieusement blessé le dos en faisant de l'escalade (je soupçonne que c'était en Février quand il a failli se tuer comme un con). Il a même partagé des photos prises à l’hôpital alors qu'il s'apprêtait à passer un scanner et une IRM. Il a l'air de sérieusement souffrir. Et pourtant, il est sur scène à 200% comme si de rien n'était. Il donne tout pendant les concerts (ça saute dans tous les coins), quitte à passer des heures une fois la fête finie allongé sur des sacs de glace pour récupérer de la douleur. Après Austin il a même tenté le bain glacé, dans une poubelle (pourquoi pas .... à 1min). Visiblement pas agréable du tout. (en vrai je le plains, j'ai aussi de sérieux problèmes de dos et il a l'air franchement mal en point) Et hier à Kansas City.... Monsieur a aussi trouvé le moyen de niquer son genoux - oui, canne et atelle, dont il s'est débarrassé après parce que ce n'est pas possible de faire le zazou avec ces accessoires). Voilà voilà. Je n'ai pas compris qu'ils programment une tournée sans avoir du nouveau à promouvoir, alors que ça fait 2 ans qu'ils étaient en pause (enfin, ils étaient censés être en studio tout ce temps n'est-ce pas). D'un autre côté ils ont dû booker il y a longtemps et pensaient peut-être avoir quelque chose de prêt... Je suppose qu'on ne refuse pas de tourner en 1ère partie de Muse de toute façon! Une fille qui a fait un Meet & Greet a raconté que Jared a dit que l'album sortirait en septembre et a ajouté en plaisantant que ça pouvait être septembre 2018, 2019. Trop drôle J. Une autre qu'ils repartent en tournée solo l'année prochaine, que l'album serait rock et pop et était varié, qu'ils pourraient sortir 2/3 titres à la fois pour que les fans se rendent compte de la versatilité du projet. (C'est quand ils veulent...) Tant qu'ils ne donnent pas noir sur blanc une date précise je n'y crois pas/plus vu les infos contradictoires qu'on reçoit sur l'avancement du truc. Quand tu te payes gentiment de la tête de ton petit frère ça se passe comme ça chez Mars... Pause jusqu'au 2 juillet pour la tournée. Jared on IG -24.06.2017 - “I miss the road. #backsoon @30secondstomars” Pour l'album... mardi dernier sur instagram Jared disait avoir "terminé une nouvelle chanson aujourd'hui" - mais on ne sait pas si il a fini de l'écrire, de l'enregistrer ou de la mixer. Bilboard a reçu confirmation de la maison de disque que l'album est toujours prévu cette année mais toujours ni date ni titre ni première note. Absolutely. I was onstage the other night with Thirty Seconds to Mars in front of 20,000 people, and I’ll tell you the most surprising thing is the incredible sense of unity that we see night after night across the country. You see people that may disagree politically, culturally and in many other ways, who then come to a concert and agree on something. There’s celebration, unity, kindness, and I see that quite a bit, both on the stage and off. I don’t see a lot of negativity or divisiveness, and that’s beautiful because music can bring people together. It can also divide people, provoke people, but one of the things it can do is unite people. And that’s really powerful. Is there one song from the new album that best reflects this project? Absolutely, and more than one. They couldn’t be tied more directly together, they are essentially one in the same. That’s what makes this project all the more special to us and the reason we’re moving forward doing it. But, at this point, to continue with it now what we need, most importantly, is the participation from people all across the country. It doesn’t matter if it’s a shot from your cell phone or if you have a big fancy camera and you’re gonna go out and film and capture an entire story or event. It can be anything and everything that you think is interesting, fascinating, challenging, surprising, inspiring. Tell a story of what you think America is. We want to see and hear from people all around the country and people outside the country can contribute as well and tell us what America means to them. It’s probably impossible to understand who we are if you don’t ask people in the rest of the world to contribute and comment on America and the American dream. How and when will people see the footage? We’ll start seeing footage almost immediately. We’re gonna start cutting together short pieces and sharing on social. My entire day, on all of my social handles, is going to be documented, both in real time and through pieces of content we’re creating throughout the day on the Fourth of July. We’re going to be asking people to participate both through social and through contributing and sending in footage. But it’s an incredibly huge undertaking. Right now we’ve got about 30 or 40 people working on this. Il continue à le démontrer avec le nouveau documentaire ‘A Day in the Life of America’, qui fait partie du prochain album du groupe. Le documentaire sera composé de vidéos pris par des fans le 4 juillet ainsi que par une équipe de tournage, qui enregistrera des événements vidéo le jour-même et décidera exactement ce que ‘a day in the life of America’ veut dire pour eux. L’idée est venue de la fascination de Leto avec National Geographic quand il était jeune, spécifiquement le livre ‘A Day in the Life’, qui consistait de centaines de photos prises en Amérique en une seule journée. Après leur concert au Kazakstan ils ont été bloqué à l'aéroport. Ils ont finalement atterri à temps pour filmer les premiers feux d'artifice... Après 40h sans sommeil. Il est tellement passionné par ce qu'il fait, ça donne forcément envie de le suivre. Jared s'échappe enfin du Kazakstan (03/07) Il est tellement fatigué sur cette vidéo... Il est enfin arrivé (03/07) à NY. Une centaine de personnes qui bossent sur le projet "A day in the life of America". Il cherche de quoi manger dans une station service et comme il est vegan il ne trouve rien . Il filme les 1ers feux d'artifice. A la maison après une bonne douche, au boulot. In what can only be described as a massive undertaking, Leto and his band Thirty Seconds To Mars are endeavoring to make a video portrait of America, capturing a single day in the life of the country. On July 4, Team Leto had film crews in all 50 states (plus D.C. and Puerto Rico) shooting for A Day in the Life of America, a documentary that will be released with Thirty Seconds to Mars' forthcoming album. Leto has also led a giant social media campaign encouraging Americans to submit their own footage for the project, which will be crowdsourced from "anyone and everyone." (Submissions will be open until July 15, 2017 at 11:59 P.M. EDT and content can be uploaded here). We talked to Leto about the project, his aims, and how touring the country with Thirty Seconds to Mars helped shaped his view of America: How did this project begin? It was really the music. It's the new album that inspired me, thematically. It's very much in line with the project that we're doing. When I was a kid in 1986, I saw a book that National Geographic made called A Day In The Life of America and it was photographers that went around the country on a single day and took photographs. And I thought what a great idea to take it a step further and paint this portrait of the country in what is a really important time. What do you mean by an 'important' time, exactly? Are you referring to the Trump presidency? I'm referring to everything. I think it's an important time right now, politically. I think it's an important time, environmentally. I think it's an important time, socially. I think a lot of people are thinking about the future. People have concerns about the future. I think there's a feeling of uncertainty. I'm on tour right now with Thirty Seconds to Mars and we've been on stage night after night after night and we feel so much unity and so much commonality out there on the road. Music can do that, film can do that, art can do that. While the goal of this piece isn't necessarily about unification, I think it's an important time to hold up a mirror and take a cold, hard look at ourselves. And say 'Who are we as Americans? And what is the America that we hope to have in the future?' And so we're asking people out there. We're shooting in all 50 states and Puerto Rico and D.C. We're asking people to pick up their cellphones, pick up a camera, interview yourself, ask yourself the questions what does America mean to you, what does the American Dream mean to you, what are your hopes and dreams for the future, what are you greatest fears. And also go out and film something. A sunset, a sunrise. We're doing this on the 4th of July, it's a poignant date. But it's less about the 4th of July specifically, and more about who we are as a nation. We don't want things to be sugarcoated. We don't want them to be polite. We want things to be challenging. I hope to get footage that's fun and funny and inspiring, but also footage that I disagree with, footage that may be upsetting, that causes a conversation or discussion. How do you feel about the future of the country right now? Are you hopeful? What are your biggest concerns? I think this is an incredible country. I have traveled the world many, many, many times with Thirty Seconds to Mars. We have toured more than is reasonable, and probably against any doctor's recommendations. We've seen a lot. This is a very special place, because of our differences. I think America has so much potential. I'm optimistic about the future of the country. I think we have some of the most incredible and talented people in the world here, and I think it's still a place where people have opportunities. I've been very fortunate, and on the receiving end of all the promise of America. I was born to a single mother, who with hard work and a lot of perseverance took her two kids and made a better life for herself. I have very strong thoughts and feelings about America. Logistically speaking, can you tell us a little more about how filming will work? We have hired people in all corners of the country to film and we will be capturing footage ourselves. But I think the most compelling footage will probably come from the crowdsourced element of the project. That will be the most surprising, and I think probably will be the most poignant. What's the timeline for putting everything together and what format will it be shared in?It'll be shared as soon as we're done. It depends how much footage we have. Is it hundreds of hours? Is it thousands of hours? We're trying to get the word out—the success or failure of this really depends on the participation of the public. We're looking for what's challenging or exciting or inspiring or brave or bold, and what will help illustrate who and what we are as a nation, right now. We're dependent on the participation from young filmmakers, from moms, from police officers, from students, from anyone and everyone who wants to tell their story. News’ Zuri Hall, wearing a very eclectic and colorful ensemble—a result of what he says is when you simply “stop giving a f–k.” He opened up about his upcoming album with Thirty Seconds to Mars, which will be their first in four years. Unable to contain his excitement, he admitted, “I think if I keep talking secrets are just going to come out of my mouth. We do have some really exciting and surprising collaborations.” This is definitely exciting news, considering they’ve only ever worked with ‘Ye in the past. “The only person we’ve ever collaborated with before as far as another artist is Kanye,” Leto explained. “That was on a song called 'Hurricane’ some years ago, and it was incredible. We ended up performing together in Spain in front of like 60,000 people.” He recalled the performance, explaining, “We had a show in Spain, and I remember I called him up, and said, 'Hey, man. Do you want to come out and play with us in Spain. We’re playing outside in the street.’ It was the night before, and he was like, 'Yeah, why not?!’ He flew over, and he showed up. I couldn’t even believe that it all happened.” Leto enjoyed working with Kanye so much, he said he’d put the rapper at the top of his list to collaborate with again. “He was fantastic,” Leto gushed. “I just had a great time working with him. He was really generous and really kind and I just had a great time with him. I think the world of him.” Thirty Seconds to Mars’ new album is due out later this year with a new single coming out shortly. But aside from music, Leto is also busy with his acting career and side projects, including the group’s new film project, A Day in the Life of America. “I get excited by creative ideas and really passionate about solving any problems that come up when we’re trying to bring them to life,” he told us of his work. Mais apparemment, et ce n'est pas une blague de ma part, le single pourrait s’appeler Walk On Water.... On dirait Jésus En gros, concert à Toronto mardi. et Jared a donné quelques interviews (non, la blouse ne sort pas du dressing de sa Grand-Mère, c'est Gucci). Il est passé par New York pour assister au HeartRadio Summit, parce que 30STM jouera au HeartRadio Festival en septembre Rod Ryan, un mec de la radio, twitte la photo avec en commentaire: "Regardez qui est passé dire bonjour; il nous joue la nouvelle chanson Walk On Water.
