En février dernier le groupe a reçu le Brit award de la meilleur révélation catégorie groupe.

La chanson Flathead, extrait de l'album, est utulisée dans les pubs Ipod, malgré cela le groupe reste peu connu hors des frontères britaniques.

The fakely fraternal Fratellis - notionally named Jon, Barry and Mince Fratelli - made the top five with their first two albums before splitting in 2009. Returning to action, they don't do so well with 2013 album We Need Medicine debuting and peaking at number 26. The Glaswegian band recover some lost ground with fourth album Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied debuting this week at number 16 (3,368 sales) in the UK as a whole, and at number five in Scotland. Their 2006 debut Costello Music remains by far their most successful album. Debuting and peaking at number two on sales of 71,552 copies, it spent a total of 61 weeks in the Top 75, and sold a massive 1,121,251 copies, whereas We Need Medicine sold just 13,655 copies.
