Sally Shapiro is out with a new single "Forget About You" from the forthcoming album "Sad Cities"! Available on streaming platforms, Bandcamp, Italians Do It Better's web site and don't miss the beautiful animated music video by Robotina! The single is based on an instrumental I made as far back as 1994, on the Yamaha PSR-3500 keyboard in this image: https://www.facebook.com/agebjorn/photos/10151532675538517 I was a few years older than in that picture though. The original version was saved on a tape and is included on the single! It's completely unsequenced, everything was played live in different layers (except the drums that were programmed). I had zero listeners at the time, so if someone has a time machine, send the 16-year-old me a message that the track would one day be released on one of the coolest record labels in the world ? The bass sound of the new Sally Shapiro version of the song (same bass sound as in "I'll Be By Your Side") also comes from this keyboard.
