Hier soir, sur Channel 4 en Angleterre, une emission a été consacrée pour designer officiellement les 50 plus grands vendeurs de singles en Grande-Bretagne depuis l'instigation des charts anglais en 1956.

Je suppose que c'est "tous singles confondus" ? En tout cas bravo au n°1 et ses 21 millions de ventes ...

 

En effet, ce sont tous les singles confondus.

 

Pour vous donner un ordre d'idée sur ce classement, je vous enjoint la liste des 100 + fortes ventes de singles de tous les temps en Angleterre. Cette liste fut également initiée par Channel 4 en 2002 à l'occasion des 50 ans des charts anglais:

Je veux pas dire mais je suis bcp plus impressioné par ABBA que par tout le reste.

 

En seulement 25 singles (dont 9 à la première place et 12/13 dans le TOP 10/5), ils me font bcp plus d'effet qu'un artiste qui a dû mettre + de 100 singles pour être au top.

 

Pareil pour les Beatles

j'adore the Beatles, Spice Girls, Elvis, beaucoup des chanteurs et groupes

 

Les Beatles ont vendus en moyenne + de 630.000 copies par single, ce qui est enorme. Abba ,quand à eux, ont une moyenne de + de 400.000 copies par singles. Cliff richard ou Elvis ont vendus en moyenne 100 à 150.000 exemplaires par single, ce qui est moyen.
