Elle prépare un nouvel album pour 2019 selon son facebook. Heureux !

Elle vient de finir ces deux mois à Broadway, elle y jouait Carole King pour la comédie musicale Beautiful. Le show avait l'air magnifique !

 

 

 

 

L'album est terminé et est prévu pour début 2020... Hâte d'entendre tout ça !

Je suis content de la voir se renouveler. Cette aventure à Broadway a été une superbe opportunité pour elle et les critiques ont été vraiment bonnes. Je suis triste d'avoir raté ça. 

Concernant le nouvel album, on a quelques titres de chansons et quelques courts extraits. Elle semble rester dans la lignée de Liberman, elle semble partir vers quelque chose d'encore plus pure, épurée et "dreamy". Ces 5 albums sont des bijoux, j'ai hâte d'entendre la suite...

Superbe titre comme toujours ! J'aime son évolution vers quelque chose de plus rock alternatif ce coup-ci. Les paroles sont très belles, ça a été co-écrit avec la chanteuse Tristen avec qui Vanessa a pas mal tourné ces dernières années. J'espère qu'elle nous donnera de quoi nous nous faire patienté d'ici la sortie du disque. Je sais qu'une tournée est en préparation. J'espère qu'elle se lancera dans une grande tournée américaine ET européenne comme pour le Libernam Tour.

J'écoute beaucoup Liberman, c'est un bel album. La voix suave et douce, les arrangements electronique soft avec piano aériens. Un combo parfait, j'adore aussi sa façon de chanter et les mots de ses chansons. 

C'est trop classe.

Pleins de nouvelles aujourd'hui ! Une date de sortie, une nouvelle tournée, une pochette et une setlist

Le nouvel album s'appelle Love Is An Art et sort le 27 mars prochain !

 

 

Vanessa a co-écrit ses 12 nouvelles chansons avec l'auteur-compositeur-interprète Tristen ; Vanessa avait révélé il y a quelques mois que les deux artistes travaillaient ensemble sur son prochain album. Il n'y a pas cependant pas de duos sur le disque. De la liste, on connait le nouveau single Future Pain , Love Is An Art et très vite fait Patience dont elle avait teasé une minute en 2012

Je suis enchantée par son retour même si je reste perplexe face à cette orientation rock alternatif. Je préfère à titre personnel l'ambiance minimaliste et épurée de "Liberman". Les deux extraits dévoilés me plaisent bien cela dit, notamment "The only way to love". Les démos live de "Patience" et surtout de la chanson titre "Love is an art" me font trépigner d'impatience. La pochette est belle mais assez inattendue, je me demande bien ce que symbolise le tigre ici. Vivement le 27 Mars alors !

Elle a chanté une nouvelle chanson I Know You Don't Mean It. Du pure Vanessa Carlton cette chanson ! C'est très jolie !

Excellente nouvelle ce retour. Je suis pas encore fan de la chanson mais ça reste à son image, classieux.
