Peut-être pas très utile de déterrer le topic juste pour ça, mais cette demo enregistrée par Lena pour le retour de t.A.T.u. qui était prévu en 2014 vient d'être mise en ligne.

 

Je n'avais jamais vue la vidéo. La chanson est ce qu'elle est, une demo (qui ne ressemble d'ailleurs pas beaucoup à ce qu'elles faisaient), mais ça me fait un petit quelque chose

L'album Waste Management est sur les plateformes de streaming depuis quelques jours, il est ressorti en Transcendent Version

Je ne connaissais pas la version de cet album avec des sortes d'intro à certaines chansons est d'ailleurs juste vraiment dingue, ça m'a fair redécouvrir certaines chansons et à quel point ce disque mélangeait Rock & New Wave!

C'est la première et seule version que j'ai connu de cet album.e Certaines transitions sont vraiment bonnes (White Robe/You & I, Fly on the Wall/Time of the Moon), d'autres font un peu remplissage (je déteste celle entre Waste Management et Running Blind).

 

Waste Management/Vesyolye Ulybki ont de vrais temps forts. L'album m'avait un peu déçu à sa sortie, je ne suis toujours pas très fan des morceaux les plus entraînants (220/Sparks et Chelovechki/Little People) ainsi que de la très classique et niaseuse Ne Zhaley/Don't Regret.

Je leur préfère les moments plus sombres : White Robe, You & I, Snowfalls, Running Blind.

 

J'avais détesté Fly On The Wall à l'époque, trop Timbaland à mon goût, mais finalement je l'aime beaucoup et c'est un vrai gâchis qu'elle ne soit jamais sortie en single.

Quelques semaines après il a déjà disparu  

 

Par contre ils ont rajouté les albums Happy Smiles et Waste Management en version Remixées Part 1 & 2 + quelques singles qui n'étaient pas dispos

Il a l'air vraiment bon, je suis un peu dégouté... Vous savez où je pourrais l'écouter SVP ?

During a live video, author Sergio Galoyan, Valery Polienko, Elena Kiper and Lookport’s organizers of the “200 Po Vstrechnoi” tribute show, Alexsey Volkov and Tatiana Zhurabskaya openly answered to the accusatory press reports and Lena Katina’s statements, commented on the letter from Neformat, LLC, shared the details of negotiations with the soloists and answered questions from fans.

1. All members of t.A.T.u. knew about the “200 Po Vstrechnoi” tribute in advance. Negotiations were held with Julia Volkova, Lena Katina and Ivan Shapovalov several months before the main announcement and the start of sales.
2. t.A.T.u.’s songwriters are co-organizers of the event. Sergey Galoyan, Valery Polienko, Elena Kiper and more than 10 other people. Contracts have been made with them.
3. Ivan Shapovalov has been discussing copyright conditions for more than 2 months.
4. Organizers and t.A.T.u.’s authors really want Julia Volkova and Lena Katina to take part in the tribute show. Lena was offered any option for interaction, from simply being at the event to recording songs and performing together or solo, with all expenses covered. Representatives of Julia Volkova gave a rather harsh refusal to participate in the event due to the participation of one of the authors in the tribute.
5. The permission of the t.A.T.u. singers or Neformat, LLC is not legally required for the tribute show. Elles ne se sont pas encore prit la tête, ce concert s'est fait sans leur dire (elles ont été prévenue en Avril alors que le concert été prévu avant le COVID) et sans inviter les producteurs de l'album, en gros c'est complètement ramdom. Lena ne veut pas le faire si Yulia ne le fait pas, sans pour autant confirmer une performance entre elles. Yulia a refusé de la faire à cause d'un auteur impliqué dans cet évènement.
