Lorie annonce son nouveau single : "Le coup de soleil"

Lorie annonce la couleur : elle publiera le 8 octobre son septième album studio. Un disque de reprises dont le premier extrait sera "Le coup de soleil" de Richard Cocciante. La pochette du single dévoilée, il ne reste plus qu'à attendre le son, prochainement envoyé aux radios.

pas de style ça veut dire quoi avoir du style c'est nul comme réflexion car tout le monde copie tout le monde et des noms on peut en citer à la pelle, moi j'aime lorie point barre.

that my autistic child could bteetr be served by Dane County and the MMSD. (My child with autism had been in institutional care for a year at that time). I had been specifically advised to live in the West draw area. I enrolled my TAG child at EAGLE.EAGLE was a godsend! My child still sometimes complained of boredom, but I was able to simply encourage a talk with the teachers versus using what little physical and emotional energy and time I had for advocacy. Teachers found ways to provide more challenges without giving additional work (which my child has always resented). (Thank you EAGLE teachers and staff!) I was able to somewhat relax. I did not think past schooling at EAGLE. Mistake!The apartment complex that we lived in erroneously listed us in the West draw area. We went to the Memorial transition meeting in 2009. It was clear from that presentation that I was going to have to spend some time advocating for my TAG child's appropriate education. It was very evident that the school thought the necessity for small learning communities with core classes superseded any individual student's need for higher level coursework ; but it was just as clear to me that an introduction to grammar and mastery of the five paragraph essay was not appropriate as an English course. My child had been writing multi page research papers and stories since fourth grade and entering them into contests part of the TAG programming before EAGLE. A survey of science was also not the appropriate science course. My child had been reading college level science texts since second grade. The survey had been done. After that meeting we spoke to a guidance counselor and a science teacher. It was clear that it was going to be a fight to get the appropriate programming We went to the West transition meeting.The West transition meeting was encouraging. I especially remember the foreign language teachers encouraging the students to have their middle school teachers initial for the higher of two levels if there was a question about appropriate placement. They said that they would assure that the student got the needed support to succeed. There were also options regarding English placement and the possibility of options in history placement (this never came to fruition). Music to my ears! I later learned through the grapevine that there was a test to take for accelerated Biology. It was difficult to obtain specifics about the test, but at least there was something bteetr than a survey course.Still, it was worth pursuing appropriate programming at Memorial since a guarantee of being able to attend West could only be secured by moving to that draw area. I turned in the blue waiver forms and the initialed course card to the guidance counselor at Memorial. He looked the materials over and said that it would be very surprising if any student was truly that accomplished. He then asked if my child had social deficits . I assured him that I was very careful to make observations regarding poor social interactions since my other child had severe autism. I told him that I thought that my child was well adjusted. My child had twice been elected to serve on student government and had successfully participated on a winning basketball team. I later learned that Memorial teachers challenged the EAGLE teachers's placement of my child in French and math they said that my child could not succeed at that level in high school.We submitted course cards to West, enrolled in honors English, and my child took the accelerated Biology test. There was no challenge to the math and foreign language recommendations. We moved to the West draw area.My child did not complain of boredom in high school for a couple of months. I think that the onset of boredom was delayed because it was a big adjustment to go from EAGLE to West because of the size. Also, Rocket Club absorbed lots of attention and presented challenges for several months. But complaints of boredom did ensue. Also, he was threatening to drop honors English because he was having to do additional work. At the Fall parent/teacher conferences the accelerated Biology teacher expressed her concern that boredom and disengagement might occur because my child's scores were so high in her class.But with the New Year came a new opportunity. An EAGLE teacher was willing to prepare a group of EAGLE alumni for an AP test. The students studied for the AP for thirteen weeks. (I put studied in quotes because my child rarely spends more than an hour on academic work. What takes the most time is coloring and labeling maps because he has poor fine motor skills). He made a 5 on his AP test. I met Lorie Raihala at the grocery store about the time the AP course was starting up. I recognized her as an EAGLE parent and spoke to her. I guess I vented a bit! She volunteered to share information about TAG best practices. She has since shared information about what the law/DPI says about TAG services, what the district has said about TAG services, and what is going on at West. She has invited me to meetings. She has introduced me to people who have advocated for improvement in educational practices. When my child became upset because petitions were being circulated in West classrooms and there were commentaries about how changing TAG programming would negatively impact the poor and persons of non-Caucasian race, she consoled and empowered my child. (My child has a Hispanic surname, has dark skin, and was supported for a time by a mother making $8.75/hour) Lorie has also sent me articles on autism. She's an angel! Clearly she is not working so hard at this to just improve her own children's livesMy child made straight A's last year.There are daily complaints about being bored this year. My child talks a lot about wanting to do home schooling or just going on to college. I work outside the home, so I am not in favor of home schooling. I am not financially prepared to pay for college. Also, I think the social life of high school is important.And I am bringing the child with autism to Madison in the near future. Since transitions are not easy for that child, I know a lot of energy and time will be consumed with that effort.I do need the respect of the DPI, MMSD, the school board, the West community (teachers, staff, students, and parents), and my family. I am doing my best for my children with an eye toward what is best for all children. I want TAG programming changes NOW because it would make a big difference in the life of my child and our family life. The world will hopefully benefit if my child stays engaged with schooling that challenges intellect and promotes discovery.Thanks to all who have become involved in this effort to improve TAG programming at West!
